SILVER POM-POM TREE (60’S)
This small tree is an original from the 60's. See the flare at the end of the branches and where it came by it's name; Pom-Pom tree. The star topper and many of the different beaded ornaments are from the 30's to the 40's and is a design of the Czech people. This tree sits in an antique base which I love.
The little blue house at the bottom is called a Putz House. Many immigrants brought them here to America since they reminded them of home. They were placed under the Christmas tree's with animals, manager scenes and many times a fence around the base of the tree and it was all placed inside the fence. You can find many of these pieces under the label of Putz.
